Day 168: Autumn Light
Autumn brings beautiful orange sunlight through my kitchen window. So one good thing about being up at the crack of dawn and not sleeping well is getting to see it!!

I've had my picture "icons" that I use for social media for a while... 3+ years. So thought I'd get some new ones that show the new, more mature me. Took this one in the mountains across Shadow Mountain Lake. More to come...
Some thoughts so far…
So over 78 days I have done something each day—creating something, somehow, some way. Sometimes I am just overjoyed in creation and sometimes I am doing it quickly, haphazardly, or even begrudgingly at the end of my day. Mostly I have enjoyed the process, though. It has produced ideas, and mostly I look forward to it.Today, however, Day 79 I am just plumb out of creative juice. I know this will pass, but I feel like this project is dragging and purposeless, and it's feeding into my anxiety, and problematic self-esteem issues. Goodness gracious.I created anyway. So here you go. The number 5. I call it: Self Portrait with the Number 5.
