Day 193: Nuns with Sweets

What is creation? I've been weighing this a lot lately because I seem to have started weighing what is creation and what is not and feeling like I'm not creating anything (anything worthwhile) and therefore not posting anything here. Is anything made creation? But when I put it out there with my name on it and have people looking at it and pondering it, judging it, weighing themselves it's goodness or ugliness—this is good, this is bad. This is not good enough.
Good enough for what? I ask. Creation for today: the above ramblings.
I created a dove today in illustrator and used its lines and pieces to create these weird little beauties:

What happens when you take a photo of your finger accidently? You turn it into something other than an accident... the photo of my finger that I took looked like the silhouette of a face... so here are a few characters: Finger Faces!

I did it. I dropped the ball. I did not create something specifically for The Thirty Third this past Thursday. I woke up on Friday realizing I had been working and creating all day but didn't create thinking of this blog. However, if I recall I created a LOT not only for work, but also for some freelance projects. I created a fundraising packet, a flyer, an install of a wordpress website, and an initial design for an author's blog. PHew! Maybe it was all that creating that put me straight to sleep at the end of the day without thinking! So you'll just have to take my word for it.
Had a good conversation with my husband about these (he helps me think through things well ;) and am still working on them... feeling kinda stuck on a personal project which I've already posted a bit about. Here are a few more snapshots. Suppose I'm not ready to reveal the whole thing.
