Went to Denver Book Binding for some hands-on creative inspiration. Was interesting to learn more about how a book bindery is still working well in the digital publishing market. Also allowed for spurring on creative ideas and clearing my mind a bit from all the computer-starring involved in daily design. Here are some pictures and the little signature book I created.
About a year ago I went to Arizona with my husband's family for a short vacation. There were tiles in the house we stayed at that I took pictures of because I loved their simplicity and "desert uniqueness." Inspired by these tiles, I sketched these out today: One of clover (green for a "wee" St. Patty's tribute) and one of a deer in the snow after a picture my friend took while she was visiting Denver this winter. The tiles in the house in Arizona are at the bottom.
I plan to do some more with these sketches soon.
