These lovely little shells already had holes in them and made me think of natural beads. I got them at Love Beach on Nassau in the Bahamas last year. I painted them with acrylic ink and voila: beautiful dangly threader earrings. The perfect gift.
I created some line drawings a while back. One included this woman with rain around her. I found it today and thought I'd recycle her and create a simple digital illustration that used her. So here she is, "Mona in the Rain." (BTW, Art Painting Week has taken a detour... it will continue soon...)
Have some leftover wooden eggs from Easter, and since I liked the process of decorating them before, thought I'd try again with decoration a little less "springlike." This one is silver and green and black with a kind-of computer/constellation theme. Hmmm.
I also took a picture of a bunny yesterday so thought I'd include him.I used acrylic inks (my favorite art medium) on panel tonight. I had already painted down a base of acrylic paint colors on the board, and decided to create more on top.
This painting is for Seth, my brother. When he lived nearby we would create co-art-pieces together. This is one I've started which I hope he will continue with me... (The first one is with just some white and blue outlines, the second is the progression to where it is now.)
Today I finished up the little houses that I started way back on Day 52! (http://thethirtythird.posterous.com/day-52-little-houses-watercolor-sketch-st.... If you may remember Paul Soupiset (of http://soupiset.com) suggested this idea and per my promise it's his to keep. After scanning it in, it'll be on its way to you, Paul.
