This week I submitted one of my pieces of art for a small art exhibit. This is a piece I've had for a while now and have posted before on the 33rd, and I am still working on it's compliment.
But I think now as I transition to my 34th Year and the end of the Official 33rd project it's time to start getting my work and creativity out in the community, and not simply here on the blog.
Today is my husband's and my 8th anniversary.
A few years ago I created these images for him using a data/word logorithm visualization tool. Each one utilized words and then created shapes and colors based on the letters and words in the phrases. I can't find the tool that I used to create these. The tool is Dreamlines. The Solaas site has many more fun ‘new media art’ and 'data visualization' tools.
So I was looking for something similar and searched for "data visualization," "logarithmic art," "logarithmic image creator." I couldn't find what I was looking for, but I did find a lot of other cool graphic visualization stuff (for example, this, and this (<---WeFeelFine... really wild), and this.) There's even some really geeky programming tools that can help you build this kind of stuff yourself (ie. Processing).
So with Abstract01js I created this burst of fireworks, life, and color for today in celebration of our anniversary! Here's to many, many more Adam.
